Music for All is once again proud to partner with the William Mason High School band program to present the 2020 Cincinnati Regional Concert Band Festival, as one of Music for All’s Affiliate Regional Music Festivals. Music for All is a national organization that supports music programs nationwide through education and performance opportunities. Music for All’s mission is to create, provide, and expand positively life-changing experiences through music for all. Its vision is to be a catalyst to ensure that every child across America has access and opportunity to participate in active music-making in his or her scholastic environment.

Once again next year there will be two performance stages for the event, and directors are encouraged to register multiple concert bands. Groups will be required to attend at least two performances by other schools participating in the festival.  This attendance requirement ensures that all groups perform for a full and supportive audience. Each ensemble will present a 20-25 minute concert and receive a clinic with one of the world-class evaluators scheduled for the event. Concert literature selection is up to the directors and does not follow a predetermined list.  There are no awards or ratings as part of the festival.

There are 36 performance spots available for the 2020 CRCBF. Bands will be selected for one of two performance stages.  There are 18 performance spots available for the main stage (Featured Bands, MHS Auditorium) and 18 performance spots available for the second stage (Invited Bands, MHS Small Commons). There is also an option this year for a clinic only experience for any groups feeling they may not want to perform an open concert but still are wanting to work with the clinicians participating in the event.

Performance spots will be assigned to ensembles with paid registration fees starting on October 1, 2020.

Bands with unpaid fees after October 1, 2020, will be placed on the waitlist until registration fees are received. Registration will be closed once participation fees are received from 36 ensembles.

We look forward to your ensembles participating in this event. Please direct all questions to Ed Protzman at
