SCHEDULE UPDATE 

The Marching Band will be supporting the Mason vs Lakota East first round playoff football game this Friday.   Think of this as a normal home football game for our band’s preparation.    The Band will rehearse 3pm-5pm Friday at the High School (NOT Wall 2 Wall).   Please see details below.  
 
Friday Schedule: 
3pm-5pm Rehearsal at school in Bus Circle
5pm-6:15pm Dinner, Change into Uniform (marchers should bring a coat to wear over their uniform in the stands at the football game)
6:15pm Band meets in Bus Circle
6:20pm Band marches from Bus Circle to Stadium Entrance.
6:30pm (approx) Band plays Fight Song in front of the Stadium Entrance
6:42pm PreGame Performance
7:00pm Game begins vs Lakota East HS
8:00pm (approx) Halftime Performance
 
Saturday Schedule:
9am-1pm Rehearsal Mason High School (students may bring a snack to eat). Bring warm clothes for the weather.
1pm-2:30 Lunch (students responsible for their own lunch) and Change into Uniform
2:45—Warm up
3:45 Mason Performance
4:00—Change out of Uniforms at High School
5:00—Return to Stadium to Watch Bands/Awards. Students may bring money for dinner at the Booster Concession Stands.
6:45—Awards
7:00—Help Clean up Stadium then Dismissed

Grand Nationals Travel Briefing/Booster Meeting

Just a reminder the 2018 Grand Nationals Travel Briefing will kick-off the booster meeting tomorrow (Thursday), November 1st at 7pm in the Band Room.   We encourage one member of each family to attend to learn about the trip details.   

If your student will not be traveling on the band’s motor coach transportation to and from Indianapolis, you must complete a travel waiver by this Sunday, November 4th.   The band is returning to Mason Sunday, November 11th around noon.   We will have two dismissal windows if you wish to transport your student home: 1) After Finals Retreat in our Westin Hospitality Suite,  Saturday, 11/10  or 2) At breakfast Sunday, 11/11 in our Westin Hospitality Suite.    You must complete the Travel Waiver google form by Sunday.    Any requests for waivers after Sunday, must have director approval.  Please direct any questions about travel waivers to Lisa Oldham, medical secretary@masonbandboosters.com

Saturday, November 3rd is the final Medicine Drop-Off event prior to the Grand Nationals Trip.   If you have any medication you need to turn in for your student, please sign-up for a distribution time in Charms.   Detailed information about medication drop-off is available in the weekly band notes.
