Nathan Koenes

Nathan Koenes is a percussion performer and educator located in Cincinnati, OH. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Music Performance from Miami University in 2026, serving as the principal percussionist of the Miami University Wind Ensemble for four semesters. He was a featured soloist for both the Wind Ensemble and the Percussion Ensemble throughout his time at Miami. He has also performed with many independent marching organizations, including the Cavaliers, Phantom Regiment, Carolina Crown, Rhythm X, and Cap City. Nathan has worked with several High School marching band programs around Cincinnati, including Lakota West High School, Sycamore High School, and the Forest Hills School District. He also works with the independent marching organizations Cap City (WGI) and Cincinnati Tradition (DCI All Age). He currently maintains a private lesson studio offering both online and in-person lessons.
