KAREN SCHNEIDER is well known for her teaching and embouchure problem solving skills.  Because of this expertise, she has been on the faculty of the Kendall Betts Horn Camp, the Barry Tuckwell Institute and has been invited to present master classes throughout the country, specializing in embouchure or playing issues.  Throughout her forty years of teaching, her students have excelled, being accepted into almost all of the important music schools in the the country and many are now performing in orchestras throughout the world. Ms. Schneider has performed and recorded with the Cincinnati Symphony and Cincinnati Pops Orchestras, the Cincinnati Ballet Orchestra, principal horn of the Middletown Symphony and has been first call for all of the Broadway Series shows in Cincinnati.  She attended the University of South Florida and her primary teachers were Ward Fearn, Doug Hill and Michael Hatfield. She formed a group for students, amateurs and professionals called the Cincinnati Horn Connection. Ms. Schneider has been on the faculty of Northern Kentucky University and the University of South Florida where she presented a horn symposium with Philip Farkas.
