Jennifer Webb Rodway is a clarinetist proud to call Mason home.  She received her Bachelors of Music in Clarinet Performance as well as her Masters of Music in Clarinet Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.  While there, she had the opportunity to study with Ron De Kant and Richie Hawley.  She played in many ensembles during her tenure at CCM and did freelance work around the city with the Cincinnati Klezmer Project and various chamber groups.  After graduation, Jennifer and her husband moved to Toledo, OH for her husband to continue his medical education.  While there, Jennifer served as the Orchestra Director at Notre Dame Academy.  She taught AP Music Theory, Composition (having her students work on a joint project with the theater department composing incidental music for plays), developed the Jazz Band program, as well as directed the orchestra for the school’s musical productions and regular orchestral duties.  In addition to Notre Dame Academy, she taught music classes at the collegiate level at Owens Community College, and taught Clarinet at the Toledo School for the Arts.  After a brief stint in Boston, Jennifer and her family returned to the Cincinnati area, making Mason their home.  She continues to teach clarinet and perform around Cincinnati.   In addition to teaching and playing clarinet, Jennifer spends time with her family, consisting of her husband, Ian (a ’94 MHS grad), four children and three dogs, as well as running in various races around the area.
