Booster Meeting

Please join us this Thursday at 7:00 pm in the HS Band Room, for our Booster Meeting, where we will discuss the season, and our upcoming events. 

 

This is a reminder that we will be voting on the proposal to change the wording/frequency of booster meetings in our bylaws at the booster meeting. 

 

Here is the current and proposed wording for the bylaws:

Current wording:

Section 2 - General Membership Meetings: The general membership meetings will be held monthly.  Additional meetings may be called by the President, a majority vote of the Executive Committee, or the Director of Bands.

 

Proposed to change to:

Section 2 - General Membership Meetings: The general membership meetings will be held no less than once a quarter. Additional meetings may be called as deemed necessary by the President, a majority vote of the Executive Committee or the Director of Bands.

 

Finance Table 

Every Thursday evening, between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm, a finance table will be set up near practice for our families to make trip payments, or turn in car raffle tickets.

 

Lincoln of Cincinnati Test Drive

Lincoln of Cincinnati will make a donation for each person who test drives a Lincoln model vehicle on Saturday, Sept 7th from 8:30am - 2:00pm at Mason Middle School.  A quick drive around campus, such an easy fundraiser!  Our goal is 175 test drives to maximize the donation amount. Please note, anyone 21 year and older can test drive, but only one per household is eligible /counts toward donation. If you  aren’t able to participate, invite your neighbor or another family member!

Mattress Sale

On Sunday, September 8 from 10am-5pm, the Mason Science Olympiad and Marching Band are pleased to host a one-of-a kind fundraising event. It is Mason’s seventh annual mattress sale fundraiser! We are very excited to have the opportunity to partner with the Science Olympiad.    We love this fundraiser because the students do not have to sell and the parents do not have to buy!  This sale is only for family & friends that are looking to purchase a mattress.   On Sunday a complete showroom will be set up at our high school.  Just like a traditional store, customers will have the chance to touch and feel over 30 mattresses.   These are name brand mattresses and prices more reasonable than traditional stores!  Just like a traditional store, there will be a sales team there for support and financing is available.

 

Your family can help by spreading the word!  Mention our sale to friends, neighbors, and coworkers....post it in your neighborhood groups....grab one of our yard signs!   The key to share our sale!    Each band referral directly benefits the Mason Band Program!   With their first referral, the students will receive Mason Band 3/4 zip pullover made only for our event.  Each subsequent referral earns a cash prize.   Thank you for helping the band with another successful year!

Section shirts are now available for order until September 8, 2019, please refer to the email that was sent out on Friday for details. 

 

Panoramic and Section Photos

Be sure to order you panoramic and section photos from now until September 15, 2019 at www.masonmarchingphotos.com The panoramic photos is a great way to remember the season.

 

Lincoln Nautilus Car Raffle 

Tickets may be purchased online at  https://form.jotform.com/Masonbands/LincolnRaffle  Each family is encouraged to sell tickets to friends, neighbors and co-workers. Share the link!  Please make checks payable to Mason Band Boosters.
