Fall Fundraiser: Coffee & Cookie Dough Orders Due 10/25!

Our Mason Bands Fall Fundraiser is going strong and will end this Friday, October 25th! This Fundraiser supports all Mason Band programs Grades 6-12.

 

Your band student should have brought home a paper fundraising packet from their band class with all the information. Digital copies of all order forms can be found on our website: https://www.masonbands.com/boosters/fundraising/cookie-dough-and-coffee-sale

All Cookie Dough/Sweet products are $15 each and the coffee products are priced separately on the order form ranging from $8-$14.  Our coffee products will have personalized packaging with the Mason Band Logo!

 

Orders and checks are due back to your student's band director (MI, MMS) or Drop box (MHS) by October 25th. Checks are to be made payable to Mason City Schools – NO CASH ACCEPTED.

 

Products will need to be picked up by band students/parents on Thursday, December 5th between 6-9 pm in the MHS Small Commons.  We do not have refrigeration for storing items, so you need to make arrangements to have someone else pick up your items if you are not able to. Thank you for your understanding.

 

Savory Foods (cookie dough vendor) is sponsoring a drawing this year and the winner will receive $5,000 for a trip to Orlando or a college scholarship.  Each student will receive 1 entry for every 25 units they sell.  

 

Family and friends anywhere in the continental US can support our band programs by purchasing coffee products online now or in the future at www.creativecoffees.com.  During checkout under the Billing Address section type the name “Mason Bands” where it asks for “company name”.  We will profit from this fundraiser all year long if you or your family/friends purchase this way anytime during the year!

 

We look forward to a successful fundraiser. Last year we raised almost $15,000 for our great band program.  Help us raise even more this year!

Attention Freshman, Sophomore and Junior Band and Color Guard Parents!

We are still in need of volunteers for the Senior Dinner on Friday, October 25th.  We will need your help from about 3:45pm-7pm. If you cannot be there the entire shift, please email me because we would still love to have your help in any capacity!

Message from the Uniform Crew

The Uniform Crew Needs Your Help!!  It’s time to wash uniforms!  It’s easy, you can do it at home on your own schedule, and it helps us SO much!! Sign ups are in Charms (under VOLUNTEER) for both the Competition Uniforms (only 2 pieces per student), and the Classic Shirts and Vests we removed from each marcher’s uniform bag.  We will give you the simple instructions and you have a full week to complete the washing and return the pieces.  You will pick up pieces on Saturday Oct.26th between 12:30 and 1:30 (rehearsal starts at 1:00), then return them to us the following Saturday between 9:00 and 10:00 am (rehearsal starts at 9:00am).  If you have any questions, please contact us at uniforms@masonbandboosters.com  and THANK YOU!!!

 

Button Pick-up: this Monday and Tuesday!

For any who would like to pick up the student buttons they ordered as part of their Band or Guard portrait orders, the buttons only will be available for pick up tomorrow (Mon, Oct 21) after practice from about 6 pm to 6:30 pm.  And on Tues, Oct 22, from about 5 pm to 6 pm.  Table will be set up by the main Band Entrance. 

 

Spirit Committee: Sewing Help

The spirit committee is looking for a few people who can sew some straight lines to help us create scarves to sell at MSBA championships. You can do this on your own time and then return them to us and we have others who can help finish them. If you can help please contact spirit@masonbandboosters.com

Board Elections 

In December, boosters will vote on the volunteer members to serve on the board in 2020.  This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the program.
