HAVE A HAPPY AND SAFE HALLOWEEN NIGHT!
REHEARSALS THIS UPCOMING WEEK
Full band rehearsals are scheduled this week at Wall 2 Wall. Please see above for practice times as the end times vary. Wall 2 Wall’s address is 846 Reading Rd, Mason, OH 45040. We encourage students to drive themselves to Wall 2 Wall and to carpool as appropriate. We will also have two buses available to transport students from the High School who do not have their own ride. Please indicate on the survey below your transportation plan.
Prior to rehearsal the next two weeks, it's helpful to have a crew of students who have early release arrive at W2W early to help tape the field, begin to unload the trailer and set up. Students may not leave regular class early to help set up; this opportunity is only for students who have early release and are able to transport themselves to W2W to help.
Please complete this survey to both share your W2W transportation plan and select your meal preferences for Saturday and Grand Nationals.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE MSBA CHAMPIONSHIPS
This Saturday November 6th Mason Bands will be hosting the MSBA Class AAAAA Championships. Much like our Invitational a couple of weeks ago, we will need all hands on deck to help make this event a success. We would appreciate each family finding a spot where you would be willing to give your time to help. Please see below to sign up for the areas we could still use some help. Thank you in advance for once again ensuring our event runs smoothly. If you have any questions, please contact our competitions team at email@example.com.

SPIRIT COMMITTEE UPDATE
Thank you to everyone who helped us out on Saturday during our poster making party! We appreciate you giving up part of your weekend to help us make posters, buttons, and jewelry! We still have a couple of more opportunities to help.
Tuesday, November 9, we are decorating lockers and hallways at school to wish our band members good luck for Grand Nats! We need some volunteers to help on this day right after school, at 3:00pm. If you are able to help, please let Michelle Pinsky know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thursday, November 11, we will be sending off the band in the Marion’s Pizza parking lot as they start the journey to Grand Nats at 1:30 pm. We would love to see as many people as possible to send them off in spirit!
GRAND NATIONALS PARENT INFORMATION AND BOOSTER UPDATE MEETING WEDNESDAY
Please join us this Wednesday, November 3 at 7:30pm for an informational meeting regarding our upcoming Grand Nationals trip. We will also be sharing important booster information as well. The meeting will take place via Zoom with the link being sent out prior to the meeting. We look forward to seeing you online!
MEDICATION DROP OFF FOR GRAND NATIONALS
Medication Drop off for Grand Nationals will be Saturday Nov 6 at the high school during rehearsal. Please carefully review these important Med Drop Off instructions and upload your DMS (Dispensing Medication at School) forms in advance if you have not already submitted them. We do not accept any paper forms!
- SAT 11/6/21 | 11:00am-12:30pm | Mason High School | You must sign up in Charms (LINK)
Plan ahead as DMS forms require a doctor’s signature. If you have not already provided DMS forms for your student to have access to our Central OTC medication (acetaminophen, ibuprofen, benadryl) we encourage you to do so if your student has ever needed one of these medications in the past. We will not be able to provide any OTC symptom relief medication without the DMS forms signed by a physician and a parent/guardian. Here are templates you can use (LINK). If you have any questions, send email to MedicalSecretary@MasonBandBoosters.com.
SAVE THE DATE FOR THE MARCHING BAND AWARDS NIGHT

You won’t want to miss it! The event will take place in the High School Auditorium.
