MASON BANDS POINSETTIA SALE!
This year, for our Fall Sale Fundraiser, we will be offering Poinsettias for sale! This is replacing our usual cookie dough fundraiser this year. Due to many of these products being perishable and our facilities limitations due to COVID restrictions, we are offering this much more COVID-friendly option to fulfill your holiday gift and décor needs this season! Looking for a Teacher’s gift or a gift for your co-workers or friends and family? These would be a perfect way to add cheer to their 2020 holiday season! These also look great as a table centerpiece, on your fireplace hearth, or in your entryway to bring beauty and color to your home this winter.
All poinsettias will be sourced from local grower, Berns Garden Center in Middletown, OH. We will be offering the following options for sale:
6.5 Inch Pot
12-18 inches tall, 18 inches across the top
Colors Red, pink, white
8 inch pot
24-27 inches tall, 32 inches across the top
Colors: Red, Pink, White
Poinsettias are on sale NOW through Thursday, November 26, 2020 and pickup/delivery will be on December 4, 2020. Each family must pick-up/take delivery on 12/4 as these plants are sensitive to cold temperatures and must be kept safe from extreme temperatures, so please plan to keep inside.

If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Schwartzkopf and Ellen Foss at email@example.com.

ZACH LANGBEIN HONORED AT THE MUSIC FOR ALL “ALL TOGETHER NOW” LIVE PLEDGING EVENT!
Congratulations to Mason Band Student, Zach Langbein, on being selected for the Fred J. Miller Memorial Music Education Scholarship for 2020! Zach is the first student from Mason to be selected for this annual award.
Bands of America usually presents three scholarships at Grand Nationals in between rounds of the competition. The award Zach was selected for is for students planning to major in music education after high school. Zach submitted a portfolio, letters of recommendations, and several essays as part of the application process.
Zach was featured in a video that was part of a livestream held yesterday, Saturday 11/14 at the Music For All “All Together Now” live pledging event. CLICK HERE to watch the video in case you missed it. Also, this was also an opportunity to support Music For All, the organization that hosts the Bands of America and sponsors the Music For All Regional Concert Band and National Festivals, amongst other events and scholarship opportunities. They play such an important role in music education across the country and to Mason Bands as part of that. It has been a tough year for them as an organization and if you would like to help them continue this fine programming that they put on year after year, please make a tax-deductible donation by clicking the link below:
