Thank you for making the CRCBF a huge success!
What a great weekend for Mason Bands in having the privilege to host the Music For All Cincinnati Regional Concert Band Festival on Friday and Saturday! There were 40 bands and two guest bands (BGSU and UC CCM Wind Symphony) who performed in front of renowned judges from across the country! Lots of wonderful music played and heard this weekend from hundreds of talented musicians, including five of our very own bands! Thank you students for all of your hard work in preparing for this event and for outstanding performances from all!
This event takes hundreds of volunteers and we would not be able to run this event without our parents and student volunteers, so please accept this as a token of our appreciation for all of your time and dedication. It is truly appreciated by our guests, directors, boosters and students and is what makes Mason Bands such a wonderful place for our families to call home! Thank you!
Special thanks go out to Jenn Weaver, Marianne Bakos and Lisa Oldham and the entire committee, for the countless hours of planning, organizing, and soliciting volunteers to make this event run. Last but definitely not least, special thanks to our Directors and Student Teachers for their countless hours of preparation and dedication to our students! Thank you for all you do!

Mason City Schools Operating Levy Info
The Mason City Schools has an operating levy on the voting ballot on March 17, 2020 and early voting has already begun! An operating levy is needed to maintain the quality programming and activities that Mason City Schools has today. A levy failure would result in staff and program cuts across the district and significantly impact the Mason Band program that we know and love. Please see the email from Mr. Protzman that was distributed last week and attend the CommUnity Conversation with Jonathan Cooper for details on the implications to the program. We need your help to maintain quality music programs in our schools! Please be sure to cast your vote!
