OMEA District 13 Honor Band - for students selected by audition
Pep Band A: This Tuesday!
This is a reminder that PEP BAND A, has their first game this week on TUESDAY, JANUARY 15th. Each member should arrive to the MMS ARENA by 7:00 PM. You can be dropped off, or park in back of MMS, which is accessible via Tylersville Road still this year. The games are usually done around 9:15 PM.
Each member of Concert Winds, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony will again be responsible for two basketball games as part of their grade for Spring Semester. There are three groups, Pep Band A, B and C, so please check the schedule/roster that went out in December if you are not sure which group you are in. The list is also posted on the bulletin board in the band room.
There is a sign-in sheet at all games to receive credit for performing. Students in all other concert bands are not required to attend, but are always welcome!
If you have a conflict with one of the games, it is your responsibility to arrange a trade with a student from another pep band, on your same instrument. All students must attend two game, so you will trade with that student for one of their pep band games. When you sign into pep band games, please note if you are subbing for another student.

Medication Drop-off Event, January 23
A medication drop-off for upcoming Wind Symphony and Winter Guard travel will be held on Wednesday, January 23, at MHS from 7-8pm. Sign-ups for specific drop off times are available in Charms. Please make every attempt to drop off medication during this time. If you have any questions, please contact our medical secretary, Lisa Oldham at email@example.com.
Wind Symphony Spring Travel
Music and plans are progressing for the January OMEA and March National Concert Band Festival Wind Symphony trips. As we are required to make payments for both of these trips, we ask for your help keeping your spring Wind Symphony Travel payments current! At this point, each student traveler should have paid $700 in total travel fees. The third $200 payment was due Friday 1/12. Please see the payment schedule below.
