Band Notes for the week of July 8, 2018
Medication for Summer Band Camp
Central OTC (Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, Benadryl)
If you would like your student to have access to Central OTC medication during Summer Band Camp and throughout the season, please submit DMS forms electronically to email@example.com. Once your student’s DMS form has been processed, their Central OTC medication information will be listed in Charms in the ‘Central OTC’ field of the student profile screen. We recommend you provide access to these medications if your student has needed them in the past.

Medication Drop Off
If your student needs medication that is not centrally provided during Summer Band Camp, please plan to drop off the necessary DMS forms and medication. Here is a link to the DMS form: http://bit.ly/DMS-Blank

Band Camp: Volunteer Opportunities
Many volunteers are needed during band camp to help with lunch and snacks during camp, as well as helpers for the parking lot during that first week. These volunteers do NOT need to be approved chaperones or band aids. Snack donations are also needed for camp. These should be dropped off during practice on the 17th from 1-5 pm.

Adult Booster Social at Valley Vineyards: Sunday, August 12
You don’t want to miss this opportunity to mingle with the directors and sample a variety of wines and locally crafted beer. An opportunity to enjoy a delicious dinner, spend time with friends and meet new families before band season hits full throttle. Proceeds will benefit our organization so the more the merrier. Invite your neighbors and extended family too. It is sure to be a fun filled evening for everyone.
Booster Meeting & Dessert Social: Tuesday, July 24
Our season kick-off Booster Parent Meeting and Dessert Social will be held on Tuesday, July 24 at 7:00 pm in the High School Large Commons. Please have at least one parent or guardian present, and bring a dessert to share!
TAG Day: Saturday, July 28
Our next big fundraiser of the season is quickly approaching. TAG Day is scheduled on Saturday, July 28th from 9:00am-2:00pm and is mandatory for all Band and Guard students.
In order for the event to run smoothly, we need MANY parent volunteers to help on TAG Day. If you are able and willing to help out, please go to Charms and sign up. Please direct any questions to TagDay@masonbandboosters.com.
