JAZZ NIGHT SUCCESS!

Great job to all of the Middle School and High School students who participated in Jazz night!! All of the performances were a lot of fun and a wonderful way to showcase the talent of many of the musicians within our band program.  Once again, we are so blessed to have another opportunity for an in person/live event for both our students and their families. Thanks to everyone who went out of their way to make the event possible!

VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS NEEDED FOR AFTER PROM

Help wanted! We are in need of volunteers to help decorate and run the band’s Disco Tattoo Shop during After Prom on Friday, April 30th.  Both parents and students can help decorate and set up prior to the event.  During After Prom itself, we ask for only parent volunteers due to Covid restrictions.  In case you cannot volunteer your time,  we could also use donations of cash and/or supplies. Monetary donations will be used to purchase needed items and decorations.

 

To volunteer or to see a list of needed supplies please log into Charms.  Please click on the  “helping hand” on the April 30th date in the calendar to sign up to volunteer your time.  If you prefer to donate supplies, click on the “helping hand” for April 15th

 

Monetary donations can be made online here.   Cash/Check donations can also be placed in the drop box next to the band room.  Thanks in advance for any help you are able to provide.  It promises to be a fun night!!  Please email secretary@masonbandboosters.com with any questions you may have.

SPRING FLOWER SALE IS UNDERWAY!

Our annual spring flower (and vegetable) sale is underway!  Please be sure to share the details with your friends and family!  Band families should plan to pick up any flowers ordered in support of their student on May 7th, 6-8pm or May 8th, 9am-12pm. We ask that you deliver them to the friends and family who helped to support our band that weekend.  Flowers can also be directly delivered for a $15 fee.  Click here to order.

FINAL CONCERTS AND SENIOR AWARDS NIGHT

In order to accommodate our seniors who were slated to perform their last concert on April 27 the final concert for Concert Green & Silver, Concert White, and Concert Winds has been moved from Tuesday, April 27th to Monday, April 26. The final concert for Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony will remain on April 28th.  Seniors in those groups who were slated to receive awards on the 28th will be honored in the ceremony on April 27th in order to allow them to perform on April 28th.

MARCHING BAND 2021

This week the complete Marching Band 2021 Registration Guide was sent out by email.  It includes critical information to complete the registration process for the 2021 season. The Registration Guide requires action by every family no later than May 1st and features information from Mr. Sleppy, links to all of the required medical/permission to participate forms, the Consumable Fee Calculator, and Health & Wellness forms.

 

We highly encourage you to review the complete registration guide as it will answer most of your questions.  Please refer to the guide and all the links it contains to complete the registration process and associated payments for the 2021 season. COLOR GUARD TRYOUTS

Tryouts for the 2021 Marching Band Color Guard are scheduled for April 20, 21, and 22 from 6pm-9pm in the MECC Gym. Students will need to sign up for the tryout via google form. Visit the Color Guard Tryout Info Doc for more information and link to the sign up form!
