2015 Grand Champions - Lafayette High School
On behalf of the staff, students, band boosters and administration of Mason High School, we would like to welcome you to our 15th annual marching band competition, the “2016 Mason High School Marching Band Invitational”. The competition will be held at Atrium Stadium, which is on the campus of Mason Middle School, adjacent to Mason High School.
Two competitions will be held with separate award ceremonies. The Class A / AA block will occur in early afternoon with awards in late afternoon. The AAA / AAAA / Open block will begin shortly thereafter and finish with an exhibition performance of the William Mason Marching Band.

All tickets are for general admission seating and will be sold at the spectator entrance located on the north end of the stadium. Tickets are good for all day. The ticket office and gates will open at TBD.

Several vendors and two concession stands (cash only) will be operating. Professional DVD video recordings of band performances and other souvenirs will be available for purchase.
Cameras and recording equipment are permitted, but please be respectful of those around you by not blocking their viewing. Movement inside the stadium will be restricted during band performances. Please respect fellow spectators by setting mobile phones to silent or vibrate.

The following directions should cover most of those who need to travel. You can always go to Google Maps to obtain directions. Yahoo Maps, MapQuest, and Bing Maps also have been confirmed to be reasonably accurate. For GPS and online maps, please use the address for Mason Middle School (see above). Directional signs will be posted and volunteers will be available all day to assist you with parking.
I-71 traveling south - take Exit 25 (Kings Mills Rd). Turn left at the light (toward Kings Island). At the Taco Bell, take the continuous right turn (right lane) to Kings Island Drive. Go past Kings Island Amusement Park. Turn right at the light to Western Row Road. Follow the remaining directions below.
I-71 traveling north - take Exit 24 (Western Row Rd). Turn left at the light to Western Row Road. Follow the remaining directions below.
Approximately 0.8 miles up Western Row Road is a left turn to stay on Western Row, a right turn to Stitt Road and if you stay straight it becomes Tylersville Road (see photo below). You will continue straight on Tylersville.
Stay on Tylersville Road for approximately 1 mile. Mason Middle School will be on your right at the corner of Tylersville and Mason-Montgomery Roads.
I-75 traveling north - take Exit 22 (Tylersville Rd) and turn right at the light. Follow the remaining directions below.
I-75 traveling south - take Exit 22 (Tylersville Rd) and turn left at the light. Follow the remaining directions below.
Stay on Tylersville Road for approximately 3.5 miles to Mason-Montgomery Road. Mason Middle School will be on your far left at the corner of Tylersville and Mason-Montgomery Roads.
We have worked very hard to make this event the best it can possibly be. Please take a few minutes to carefully read the information provided in the director's packet which will hopefully answer most of your questions.
