Band Notes for the Week of April 17th

Mason After Prom

Any students needing service credit hours can earn them after school on Friday, April 21 helping to set up for After Prom (not only the Band Booster’s room – but anywhere you can help) just show up and ask around to any of the volunteers if they need help, bring your form with you for signature.

If you have not yet turned in your cash donation that you signed up for on Charms or any supplies you signed up to donate please turn them in no later than April 17 to either 7925 Birchwood Court or 4409 Village Ridge Drive. If you can’t come to us, we will come to you; send an email to: afterprom@masonbandboosters.com

We need a few more volunteers for the 2am to 4am shift or a special clean-up shift that will run 3:45-4:30am. We need to turn in all volunteer names to the After Prom chair next week so that you will be able to get through the front door security check in for your shift. Sign up on Charms.

Don’t forget to come to the After Prom Public Open House on Saturday, April 22 from 8pm-9:30pm. Come and see what the students will experience and see how the school is completely transformed into "Game On, Mason!".

Flower Sale is Going On Now!!

The annual flower sale is now under way. Continue to collect orders through April 24th.

Your student should have received a sales packet last week, however if they didn’t, forms are available to print from these links: order forms and product lists ,which can also be located on the band website under NEWS.

Order should be turned in to the band directors or placed in the dropbox NO LATER THAN Monday, April 24th - CHECKS ONLY PLEASE!

All flowers should be picked up on May 13th for delivery to your customers. If you have any questions, please contact Lynne Wilkinson at blmkc@cincii.rr.com

Marching Band 2017 Charms Registration - Required for All Members

Please complete your charms registration using the instructions in the Charms Registration Guide as soon as possible and no later than April 30th. The guide can also be found under the Charms Section on the Mason Bands website at www.masonbands.com

New Members - How to Register

  1. Your Charms account has already been setup with minimal information based on the commitment forms and registration fees collected.

  2. Review the Charms Registration guide carefully and follow the steps to login to Charms for the first time and set a new password as shown on page 1. It is recommended that you use your student’s ID number along with their initials or something easily remembered as this a shared account between all family members.

  3. Update all student information as shown on page 2.

  4. Update/Add parent/guardian information as shown on page 2 for each parent/guardian you would like to register. At least one parent/guardian is required for each student.

  5. Select at least 3 volunteer interests as shown on page 2.

  6. Remember to select the green 'update' button on each page (student/parent) to save your information.

Returning Members - How to Update/Verify Charms Information

  1. We ask that all parents of returning members login to charms and carefully review existing student/parent/guardian information to ensure everything is still current.

  2. If there are any changes needed please follow the steps on page 2 of the Charms Registration Guide.

  3. Please also review/update your volunteer interests as shown on page 2.

  4. Remember to select the green 'update' button to save your information

Globes for Sale!

If anyone is interested in purchasing a globe, we are down to our last 3!   Cost is 1 for $100 or 2 for $150.  Checks made out to Mason City Schools.  If you would like to purchase, please email Lynne Wilkinson at blmkc@cinci.rr.com to arrange delivery.
