Congratulations to our New Board
At our last board meeting, Will Grace and Bruce Sailers were voted in respectively as Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer. Our new board is now set and will begin their term on May 1st, 2017.

Flower Sale begins this week!
It is time for our Annual Spring Flower Sale! Your student will be receiving an information packet with an order form in their band class on Wednesday. If you have a student in Color Guard they will receive their packet at tryouts this week. Extra copies of the packet can be downloaded under the News section on the website www.masonbands.com. Please share this opportunity with your family, friends, and neighbors. The pickup date for all orders will be Saturday, May 13th, from 9:00-12:00 pm in the Mason High School Small Commons. If you are not able to pick up your order on May 13th, please make arrangements for someone to retrieve your order during the designated time. Please DO NOT send customers to pick up their individual orders. You and your student are responsible for pick-up and delivery of all items purchased. Please note that substitutions may occur to provide the best product for the customer. Plan to deliver the orders in a timely manner so that they retain their quality and freshness.
Orders not picked up on May 13th will not be held but will be DONATED.
1. Before you sell to friends and family, download additional Order forms at www.masonbands.com under News. Follow these links to the Flower Sale Information sheet and the Flower Order Form. You will keep the individual order forms for your reference when you deliver the flowers after pickup. There is also a Product Selling Sheet (we did not print this) with pictures of all of the flowers. You can print this or bring up on your tablet/phone to help you sell! The Product Selling Sheet will be available on the website soon.
2. Please ask customers to make checks payable to “Mason City Schools”. All orders must be prepaid. Collect money at the time the customer places their order. We no longer accept cash so please write a check for customers that pay you in cash.
3. When you are finished collecting customer orders:
Print a copy of the Order Form. This will be the Summary of all your orders that you will complete and submit with the checks.
Indicate the total number of each item sold and total dollar amount on each line.
Make sure the money remitted in your envelope equals the total amount on the form.
PLEASE include a parent cell phone on the Order Summary.
4. Orders and Money are due onMonday, April 24th. Middle School Students please turn your orders and money into your band director. High School Students, please place orders and money in the drop box outside the Band Office.
We are in need of parents to volunteer for this event. Signs up are in Charms for Flower delivery 4-7p on Friday, May 12 and Flower Pick up 9-12p on May 13th.

Globes For Sale
The Mason Marching Band has a 18 Knockerball props left from last season and will be selling them: 1 for $100 or 2 for $150 until they are gone. We have 18 currently.
