A HUGE thank you to Debby Martin and Katy Broekema for running the band’s APPterprom room last night and to all of you who helped set-up, clean –up and stay-up also for all the donations!  I’m sure the student’s appreciated it! 

 

Flower Sale

 

Flower sale orders are DUE TOMORROW.  Don’t miss out on these great flowers while also helping the Band!  Please bring order forms and payments (checks only!) and put in the drop box or give to your director tomorrow!  Any questions can be directed to Debbie Dibb at djkdibb@gmail.com

 

 JAZZ NIGHT

 

Don’t miss JAZZ NIGHT tomorrow, Monday, April 18th at 7:00pm in MASON MIDDLE Auditorium.  Come listen to the sweet sounds of Jazz from our Middle School and High School Jazz bands!

 

 Marching Band 2016 Choreography Clinics

 

All 2016 Marching Band members MUST attend a Choreography clinic on both May 6th and 7th to prepare for the upcoming season. The times of these clinics are:

 

May 6:

 

  • Guard 6:00-9:00pm in the New Gym

  • Woodwinds 6:00-7:30pm in the Large Commons (7:30-9:00 Only Leaders)

  • Brass and Percussion  7:30-9:00pm in the Large Commons (6:00-7:30 Only Leaders)

 

May 7:

 

  • Guard 1:00-5:00pm in the New Gym

  • Brass and Percussion 1:00-3:00pm in the Large Commons (3:00-5:00pm Only Leaders)

  • Woodwinds 3:00-5:00pm in the New Gym (1:00-3:00pm Only Leaders)

 

 Forms Workshops

 

There are 3 separate workshops scheduled for anyone who wishes to review the necessary forms that are required for Marching Band registration.  These workshops are also MANDATORY for all NEW MARCHERS but anyone can attend. 

 

These will be held:

 

  • Thursday April 29  6:30pm in the Guitar Room

  • Monday May 2  6:30pm in the Band Room

  • Saturday May 7 10:30am in the Band Room (or immediately following the New Member meeting)

 

Please sign up for workshop in Charms if you wish to attend.  Registration forms will be going home with your students next week and are due back by May 13.  New Members will receive their Registration forms at the Forms Meeting that you choose to attend of the three above.

 

 Kroger Rewards

 

Please don’t forget to renew your Kroger Community Rewards.  Every time you shop Kroger donates money to the band!!  Renewal instructions can be found on the website under Fundraising or click here

 

Kroger Rewards  We are required to renew every year by the end of April.  Thank you for taking a quick moment to re-register your card and for helping the band in a very easy way!

 

 BOOSTER MEETING DATE CHANGE

 

Please make note of the Booster meeting date change to MAY 12th at 7:30pm in the Guitar room.  This was moved from May 5.  Please plan on attending to vote on the proposed By-law amendments.  To view these proposals see the document posted in Charms.
