The trophy case outside the Mason High School Band Room will have to be reorganized to make room for lots of new hardware! At the season's first MSBA Competition at Kings High School on September 10, the MHS Marching Band swept the Open Class awards and was also named overall Grand Champion. The band also won trophies for Best Music, Best Percussion, Best General Effect, and Best Visual Effect. Next up for the MHS Marching Band is the Bands of America Regional Competition on October 1 that will, for the first time, take place in Mason at Dwire Field at Atrium Stadium.
