What We Are

The Mason Band Boosters is an organization of parents with students in the instrumental music program whose goal is to provide support to the Mason Band Program both financially and through involvement in any and all activities to ensure the safety, quality, and enjoyment of the program.

How We Do It

The boosters are involved in various fundraising activities, chaperoning events, helping the directors, holding awards dinners and other social activities to benefit the students.

Why You Should Be Involved

It is a great way to be involved in your child’s activities (and they don’t mind it!) It is a great way to make friends, both with other parents as well as getting to know the other students. The success of the program depends on your commitment?

What You Can Do

  • Attend booster meetings to stay informed - usually the first Thursday of the month in the high school band room.

  • Participate in fundraisers with other parents – work at concessions; help with organizing, setting up and running events; distributing products etc.

  • Chaperoning – the best way to get to know other students and parents.

  • Be part of a committee – there are lots of different committees to suite any interest including band camp, photos, food, public relations, communications. (newsletter/website), pit crew, ways and means plus many others. Check out the Committee Description link on this page.

  • Have FUN while supporting our fantastic band program!
