know I'll always be friends with, bus rides, competitions, the RCA Dome. But the
most amazing memory would have to be being drum major my senior year. Mr. Bass
pushed me to be the best that I could, and although that came through many tears
and lectures, it was more than worth it. He even told me that I was as good
and/or better than my brother (Chris Johnson) :-)

Bass' house for a sleepover, leading the band with Emily and Kathy, the feeling
you get when the airlock opens and you step onto the turf at the RCA Dome, bus
rides, the brass arc, Steve Sanders beating me out for every solo I ever wanted
:-), being part of taking the band from the level of the infamous "Evita" show
to the greatness of my senior year, "So sit back, relax, and take in the sights
and sounds of the crescent city...enjoy the scenes of New Orleans..." (and yes,
I did that from memory.)

it a great memory was the whole band was gathered around singing in celebration.
